In my opinion this is probably the ultimate hard-cast hunting bullet for the .44 Magnum for the largest and dangerous game such as bear, hogs, moose, etc. This is the bullet I carry in bear country - not brittle like harder bullets, it won't shatter when it hits bone - but doesn't slough off lead like softer jacketed bullets. Extremely hard hitting with deep penetration.
